The weather was very sunny all through the whole game and it didn’t cause any problems. When we arrived Zak, our captain, lost the toss and we were put into bowl first.

Elliot and Zak opened the bowling and for the first 4 overs, they were bowling consistently with very few runs conceded. Ishaan and Shivek took two wickets each with Zak Elliot and Alex picking one up each. There was a magnificent caught and bowled by Ishaan and a quick reflex catch by James off Alex’s delivery.
We eventually restricted Linton to 87 runs for seven wickets
.
We went second into bat, with me and James Barker opening. Our top three scorers were: Alex Warburton (20 runs), Willow White (18 runs) and Ishaan Chatterjee (17 runs).
With Ben Miller hitting the winning runs in style with a four, we won by five wickets.

*We look forward to our next home match against Thriplow next week. *
