As the 2026 cricket season commences for Cambourne CC, the academy is poised to offer an enriching cricket experience for the local community, catering to enthusiasts of all abilities.

The Junior Academy is committed to providing dedicated resources and opportunities through our Cricket 365 programme, enabling passionate individuals to develop their cricket skills throughout the year.

We invite everyone to join us for our open day on Sunday, March 15th, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the CamVC sports hall. This event aims to inspire women and girls who are curious about cricket but have yet to participate, offering a fantastic chance to engage with the sport.

Furthermore, we will host the Inter Primary School Cup in mid-June, allowing local primary schools to display their talents.

Cambourne CC's junior teams are gearing up to compete in mixed leagues for U15 to U10 teams and U14 to U11 girls' teams across various Cambridgeshire county leagues, alongside three women's teams in the women's league.

For newcomers to the sport, we are also offering ECB Cricket Allstars and Dynamos courses to assist young players in their cricketing journey.

In our commitment to environmental sustainability, we operate a kit recycling scheme aimed at reducing carbon emissions by repurposing equipment and supporting local schools and the community with pre-loved gear.
