Junior Academy 1 of 5

1. Objective

The junior Academy is considered the cornerstone of the club's future, and therefore, the club is committed to offering young players a multitude of opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge of the game through various avenues.

Young academy players will have the chance to showcase their skills and compete against senior players, providing them with valuable experience and exposure when appropriate. This unique opportunity not only aids in their personal growth but also enhances their overall development by exposing them to a higher caliber of opponents.

The club fosters a warm and inclusive environment, creating a sense of family among its members. Within this atmosphere, senior players willingly collaborate with younger players, providing guidance and support in honing their skills and preparing for matches.

Once academy players have acquired the required skills and reached a minimum age of fifteen, they become eligible to participate in Open age cricket. The selection process for Open age teams is solely based on the players' abilities. We strongly encourage all academy players to strive towards representing the Club in adult leagues. When players feel confident and capable enough to play, they can indicate their availability on the club's website, and the Captains will subsequently notify them of their selection.
