Fees are the same as last year and you should get a prompt via pitchero assigning you the relevant category of membership

Membership fees for the 2019 season are now due.

The fees will be the same as last year. There will be the usual early bird discount of £10, which expires on Sunday 5 May (after the first open-age league games of the season).

Failure to pay membership fees will have consequences in terms of team selection, with paid-up members being prioritised. Non-members will also be charged an extra £5 on top of the regular match fees.

We charge membership fees to cover the general running costs of the club, which includes £2500 per year rent to the Parish Council for use and preparation of the pitches, over £1000 per year in balls, plus insurance, league entry fees, professional colts coaching and other expenses. Without these fees, the club could not function. Referring to last season’s Treasurer’s report at the AGM, the club made a small loss last year – in part due to several players failing to pay membership fees. We are asking you to support the club, so that you can continue to enjoy playing cricket in Cambourne for years to come.

You should be notified through Pitchero of the correct category of fees for you to pay. If this doesn’t come through, or you have a query about any aspect of fees, contact Jonathan Gadsby or another member of the committee. In cases of genuine hardship, reduced fees will be considered by the Welfare officer, Andrew McLean, on a case-by-case basis.

2019 Fees:
Adult member - £75 (£65 if paid before 5 May 2019)

Colts member - £85 (£75 if paid before 5 May 2019)
This is for any member attending the FCC-led training sessions on a Friday, and includes all match fees. We have doubled the number of FCC coaches this season to allow for more individual focus.

Student member (in full-time education) - £55 (£45 if paid before 5 May 2019)
This is for any student/pupil playing open-age cricket but NOT playing in the Colts (U10 and U13) sides or attending FCC training.

Additional member - £55 (£45 if paid before 5 May 2019)
In either Colts or adult category.

Where families include more than one senior or Colt member, the first member in each category will pay the full fee, and any others pay the additional member fee. Any family members over the age of 18 and in full-time employment should be paying their own individual membership fees.

For example:
A family with 2 (or more) Colt members and no adults pays the full Colt fee for the first Colt, then the additional fee for any others (so two colts comes to £85 + £55 = £140, or £120 Early Bird)

A family with one Adult and one Colt pays the full Adult and full Colt fee (£75 + £85 = £160, or £140 Early Bird)

A family with one Adult and two (or more) Colts pays the full Adult and full Colt fee, plus the additional member fee for further Colts (eg £75 + £85 + £55 = £215 for and Adult and 2 colts, or £185 Early Bird)

The Pitchero payments system is run using GoCardless, which will request to set up a direct debit. This is how GoCardless collect their payments and is a one-off instruction. It does not set up a recurring payment.

All payments taken are covered by the Direct Debit guarantee, which includes an indemnity in the event that erroneous payments are taken.
