Team selection for Minor league play-off vs Bar Hill, 30 April

Please could we all meet at 12 noon at the Great Cambourne clubhouse - there will be plenty to get ready as this is the first game in the new pavilion, so please do turn up early and do your bit.

Threes conquer minor league with a nervy win over Linton

The air felt heavy. Not only from the humidity of a warm overcast day, but the expectation of the outcome of the final game of this season - winning the league outright lay within reach!

Sudhir took to the field with the opposing captain, as Graham was otherwise diverted by a persistent alarm in the Soul pavilion that refused to relinquish its ringing.

The overwhelming preference of the senior players was to field first as it was a potential swinging paradise (not some 70s revival band). But the decision was taken from us, and we were put into bat.

Congraulations to all involved as the 1st and 3rd XI won their respective leagues. Both beat Linton yesterday to secure league titles and next season the 1st XI will play Senior league cricket for the first time.
