2010 U10 Team Photo

The U10s capped off a stunning performance this season with a convincing away league victory at Cokenach, which secured the title with a significant points margin and took their season’s tally to played 9, won 9.

Although the team have faced some tight challenges during their campaign, no other team has quite offered the strength of depth boasted by the champions, particularly in the bowling department which offers an excellent balance of pace, swing and even leg-spin!

Cambourne Push Leaders to the Limit

Cambourne 1st XI lost a thrilling game at home against Madingely on Saturday. The league leaders grasped victory from the jaws of defeat, defying the odds in a runs chase that saw them win with 2 balls to spare.

Cambourne's 1st XI were taught a lesson in batting from Whittlesford on Saturday. Their 65 year old opening batsman finished on 111 not out chasing Cambourne's 150. Admittedly a former County pro, the pensioner produced a chanceless display that had the purist purring with pleasure as ball after ball was caressed to the boundary.

Oops!....We Did It Again

Well, it was yet another game in which the 3s played with complete pride, dignity, determination and class, so how do you think it felt to be a part of the Team that day ? wonderful, wonderful, wonderful ..

Episode 9 in “The 3s (this time Its big)” saw us playing away at Lode.

Another big win as 2nds batter Milton

With memories of a 135 run hiding still fresh in their minds the Milton CC 3rd XI drove into the Cambourne pavilion car park looking skywards and planning the routine for their synchronised rain dance. At one point a heavy shower looked a possibility with dark clouds looming to the north-west.
