Cambourne Cricket Club would like to thank the following sponsors who have made major financial contributions towards the success of the club.

The Monkfield Arms provided kit sponsorship to the 1st XI in 2009 and has provided food for the club when visiting the pub after a game.

The local fish and chip shop in Cambourne, Fish n Chick'n, kindly donated £500 in June 2010 to sponsor the blossoming U10s team in Cambourne.

Mark Tandy worked extremely hard to win a grant for £1800 from Grassroots Grants in May 2010 which covered the cost of 2 new practice nets which have massively improved the quality of training sessions.

Awards for All awarded Cambourne Cricket Club £10,000 to spend on the artificial surface laid early 2009, with some left over to go towards net sessions leadining up to the 2009 season.

To Whom It May Concern, Howzat!
Yes, after many years of hard work, Cambourne Cricket Club is all set for its 4th year in the South Cambridgeshire league in 2009, building on the success of last season by entering a new adult 3rd XI and an U10s side for the first time. Based in the blossoming community of Cambourne, we have over 50 regular senior players forming the adult teams, alongside a significant number of Under-15 and Under-13 and Under-10 players eager to improve their skills and confidence playing cricket. We are forging new links with local schools and youth initiatives, with the aim of creating around three competitive youth teams between the ages of 10 and 16. We are seeing a wonderful mix of players showing interest in our team – young and old, male and female, people of different religions and ethnic backgrounds.
But…. we need your help! As we are a relatively new club, with little to no equipment and still funding and building our club house in Upper Cambourne, we are in urgent need of sponsorship, grants and other financial assistance from local businesses and individuals alike. In return for the help we are getting, we can offer excellent sponsorship packages for local businesses. These packages are flexible, and tailored to the individual requirements of our sponsors. These might range from £1000 for a full kit sponsorship with logos, £250 for cap logo sponsorship, £150 for a entire year of club website advertising, or even as low as £50 for league match sponsorship. Individuals may sponsor match balls for a £20 contribution to club funds. We are very clear about our responsibilities towards our sponsors, and will endeavour to do everything to expose your business branding to our supporters, to the press, and to the local community. This is your opportunity to show how your business can integrate into Cambourne’s community spirit and as a Clubmark Certified Club, you can be sure that we are well organised and any money provided will be spent wisely.
If you are interested in assisting our teams, or simply wish to pass on your best wishes for the forthcoming season or for our youth development work, please email cccadmin
