Stats and scorebook information

Stats and scorebook information

Hi all, i was just wondering what happens to the scorebook information...i've looked on play-cricket.com and there are lots of stats missing from this season and few seasons back - thats just for me personally

Does anyone update this or is there some sort of stats system that we can have put on the website...this would be great

It is quite a time consuming job to enter the stats in play-cricket and you can only do it if you have the scorebook in front of you so inevitably it sometimes doesn't get filled in, or at least not in the week after the game. At the start of the season Tandy was going to do the 1st team, Cundell the 2nds and Phillip the 3rds but Tandy has been on holiday for ages, Cundell has moved up into the 1sts and Phillip has missed playing the odd weekend so you can see how things can easily get behind.

As for past seasons, Tandy had got someone to fill in all the historical matches but it might have been that some of the scorebooks had been lost or it wasn't fully completed.

Its a shame, i dont mind doing it for the 3rd cos im off school now for the rest of the season and i'll spend some time doing that, if nobody else wants to do it. can we get something on the actual site itself, sort of like an profile stats type thing, so after each match someone can add the stats to the site - again i want mind it.

The distant past I did get a number of scorecards in (probably for 2006!) when I was on the train to York every day, those days are long gone. But it did mean I got to type in the 31 I made in a cup game.

hello gents, i enter most the scores for first and seconds by friday after the game, i dont do the thirds, if there are anygames missing feel free to post here and i will happily chase them up. as for your avrages not looking good, i suggest more time in the nets :)
