The end of season social has been organised by Mark for the 27th September from 2pm (meet at 1.30pm) and this year we will be going Go-Karting at the track just outside Cambourne, near Caxton on the A1198, followed by a meal at Chutney Joes.
The price of karting is £40 per person which is fully inclusive, including a grad prix event where we will have the track to ourselves for the whole afternoon. The maximum number of riders is 24 so book you place with Mr Tandy asap to make sure you aren't disappointed. This event is open to the whole club, both colts and seniors.
To follow the Karting, Sunil has organised the same deal with Chutney Joe's curry house as per the AGM which is 1 curry, rice or nan bread and a side dish for £10.00 (drinks will need to be paid for individually at a cash bar). We are booked in at 5.30pm.
If you want to attend either or both then please give Mark Tandy or Sunil Sharma the money by the 15th September at the very latest as this is when we have to pay the full amount. To confirm its £40 for karting only, £10 for the curry only or £50 for both.
So far we have the following members going... (12 from possible 24)

Marc C
Taalib M

Due to the popularity of our centres, KARTSPORT runs a very tight schedule so as to accommodate as many drivers as possible. It is, therefore, very important that your drivers arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. Any drivers arriving after the safety briefing has started may not be allowed to race.
We recommend drivers wear soft shoes. Trainers are ideal, open toe footwear and high heels are not allowed! Race suits, helmets and gloves are all naturally provided, in a variety of sizes. Please note that drivers who bring their own helmets should be aware that we only accept class A and B helmets, with an appropriate full face visor. Spectators are very welcome, at no extra charge. We also welcome support gimmicks such as klaxon horns, banners, flags etc – all adding to the fun atmosphere!
Go-Karting is not recommended for persons with heart problems, epilepsy or other conditions which may be affected by exertion. Particularly tall, short or heavier drivers may have problems fitting into the karts. We recommend a maximum height of 6’4” and a maximum weight of 18 stone.
Under no circumstances are alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances allowed on the premises. You will not be allowed to take part in an event if you have, or appear to have, consumed such substances.
