From February 7th - February 21st 2010 we will be running elections for club committee positions, with final voting and results announced at the AGM on the evening of the 21st February. All club members and prospective club members are invited to nominate themselves to one or more of the following roles if they would like to be included as a candidate in the vote.

As you can see there are a lot of positions available - it would be fantastic to see some new faces on the committee to bring new ideas to the table and to help take the club forward. In particular we are keen to get new faces into the following vacant roles:

• Club Development Manager. Push the club on to bigger and better things by becoming the Club's Development manager. The role is very loosely defined and focuses on driving the strategic goals of the club and could include finding ways to enlarge the Colts section, entering a 4th team into the league or finding new ways to raise funds for projects such as permanent outdoor nets. As there are very few operational responsibilities, this role can be as much or as little work as you can commit to.
• Fixtures Secretary. This is largely a season only role and focuses on managing the club's fixture calendar throughout the summer. It would be best suited to someone who wants to be involved in the committee, but is reluctant to commit a lot of time into the role.
• Volunteer Coordinator. A new position for 2010, the person in this position will recruit and direct all of the club's committee members, administrators and other volunteers to ensure a successful organisation both now and in the future.

Don't be worried about offending other people that may already hold positions in the committee - competition for roles can only be healthy for the long term prosperity of the club. A full description of the roles, including the responsibilities and skills required can be found here:
